As a whole school we have all been looking at the timeline of Christianity.

In year 6 we used Emma Yarlett’s paintings and explored the Christian timeline, looking at where stories we had heard would fit.

We discussed view of God and how Christians believe that Jesus was God in human form.

We learnt how Jesus used story telling to help people understand Christian values. We used role play and acting to develop our own versions of the good news stories. We also used role play to help us imagine what it would have been like to be an eyewitness to the life of Jesus.

We used a mirror to help us understand what Jesus meant when he said that if you wanted to know what God was like you could look at him. As Megan looked at Thomas she could see Katie. Christians believe that Jesus taught that as we look at him, we see God the father.
