— 16/10/2017 Comments Off on Year 5 Science Exploration 44All week we were looking at the properties of materials and testing them for purpose in a music festival. This included testing absorbency, hardness and smoothness for food prep surfaces, insulating and conducting properties for hot drinks containers and grouping materials for other properties using venn diagrams. It was a very practical week full of interesting ideas and scientific questions. We even got to sample some hot chocolate!
